Fees

Our fees are calculated based on the expertise, experience and qualifications of the individual completing the work. We are committed to providing the highest level of service whilst charging an appropriate fee for the work we have completed.

Many clients prefer to engage with us on an annual fixed fee agreement, to ensure they are fully aware of their forthcoming accountancy fees, having the benefit of spreading their fees over a 12 month period.

We can provide a fixed price quotation to incorporate all of our services upon request.

We offer a free no obligation consultation where we can discuss your needs and requirements and provide a quotation for our fees.

However, in order to give an indication of our typical annual charges for the various clients we act for, we have provided the following information.

A private client, without complex affairs, would start to incur fees from £200 a year, including the preparation and submission of their annual Self Assessment Tax Return.

Our self employed clients tend to incur minimum fees of £400 a year to include the preparation of their annual trading, profit and loss account statement, making claims and elections within their self assessment tax return, a calculation of their overall tax and nic position, advising of any payments on account along with the preparation and submission of their tax return.

For our limited company clients, annual fees tend to start at £1,200 a year to include personal and corporation tax work. Preparation and submission of the statutory accounts along with company secretarial services.

We find many clients make costly errors whilst preparing their VAT returns. Not only does this mean additional time costs from us to rectify the position, if HMRC discover the error before we do, penalties and interest may be charged if the error is in HMRC’s favour. Many of our VAT registered clients take the choice to outsource all or part of their bookkeeping and VAT return preparation to us. Most clients would incur minimum fees of £150 a quarter for this service, depending on the time and complexity of the business source records.

Payroll is an ever-changing process that we find many employers struggle to keep up to date with. Many things such as minimum wage increases, auto enrolment, pension regulator declarations and the joiner / leaver process just take so much valuable time to manage, that could be spent working, generating income for the business. We have a payroll department that can take care of the whole process from as little as £40 per month depending on the number of employees and frequency of pay.

The correct operation of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is something that we find many businesses operating within often get wrong. The penalties for non compliance can be high, often when a client is not aware that their trade falls within the scope of CIS. We have the expertise to guide clients through the whole CIS process, often managing the whole scheme on a clients behalf, from verification, CIS return submission and preparing the payment deduction statement(s) for the contractor. Our fees start at £45 per CIS return for this service.

All charges quoted are subject to VAT, currently charged at 20%.
